Samsung SGH-i780 Confirmed for Europe. The Korean mobile phone manufacture, in a meeting with Samsung Europe, confirmed that the anticipated Samsung SGH-i780 Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone got its European launch this week.

Samsung SCH-U550 Clamshell on Verizon. Verizon launched their mid-level Samsung U550 phone. The Verizon U550 by Samsung is the successor to the U540.
There’s nothing special about Samsung’s mid-range clamshell. It has two screens (internal has resolution of 220×176 and external 96×96 pixels), 1.3 megapixel camera with Night Shot mode, EV-DO and Bluetooth support. Fortunately, it’s priced accordingly and you can already grab it for $69.99 on a 2-year contract after rebates.
Mobile Adult Video Chat Revenues will hit $1.5bn in 2012. Following the success of its “desktop counterpart,” mobile adult video chat is set to grow in the coming years. According to Juniper Research’s latest report titled “Mobile Adult: Subscriptions, Downloads, Video Chat & Text-Based Services 2007-2012 (Fourth Edition),” global revenues from adult video chat services are expected to rise sharply over the next five years, reaching $1.5bn by 2012.
The report states that, while adoption levels of such services are comparatively low even by the standard of mobile adult services, the average monthly spend of this niche market is typically 10-20x higher than for other adult services. AT&T New Two HSUPA LaptopConnect Cards From Option. AT&T has added two new LaptopConnect cards from Option to its portfolio - the GT Ultra and GT Ultra Express. The new cards deliver “enhanced mobile broadband performance” across two popular notebook computer formats, PC Card and ExpressCard. Both of these new devices operate seamlessly across AT&T’s 3G BroadbandConnect (using HSDPA) and EDGE networks.

Toshiba Portégé G810 Windows Mobile Smartphone. Toshiba has uneiled its latest Windows Mobile smartphone - Portégé G810 at the MWC in Barcelona. The all-in-one device prides itself with both HDSPA and HSUPA support. In addition to high-speed 3.5G, users can connect to other devices and networks using WiFi and Bluetooth v2.0.

Nokia N830 Internet Tablet WiMAX Leaked. February edition of the Best Buy Mobile buyer’s guide has a Nokia N810 featured on the front, but it isn’t your typical blue steel model, this version is black. Could this simply be a new color varient or a brand spanking new WiMAX equipped Internet Tablet? Upon further inspection it looks like this very well may be the N830. If you zoom in a bit, it looks as though the model is the N830, which would further indicate this being the WiMax version.
CTIA is coming up (April 1-3), expect this Nokia N830 WiMAX device to be annouced then in conjuntion with the launch of Sprint’s WiMAX network.
