Samsung U800 Soulb in Pink to fight breast cancer. Following the previous Samsung Soulb (SGH-U800) Soul Candybar Phone, the mobile phone will be offered by Samsung in a new color, pink, to promote awareness of breast cancer. £10 from each phone sale will be donated to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer foundation. Pink Samsung U800 Soulb comes with 3G (HSDPA) connectivity, quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM, a 3 megapixel camera, and 1GB of onboard storage. This cellphone will be available in the UK soon.

Nokia N96 for UK on October 1st. We’ve already heard some rumors about the Nseries handsets; Nokia N96 Expected August 2008, and also Nokia N96 to be released in Q3 2008 along with E71 and E66. As both the Eseries handsets are already official, so it’s now all about Nokia N96. A new report says that N96 will finally hit the shops in UK on Wednesday 1st October. The successor to its top profit generator, the Nokia N95 will come with a 5 megapixel Carl-Zeiss camera, WiFi, 3G (HSDPA), GPS, mobile TV, and a 16GB of onboard storage. Stay tuned.

New Beta of iPhone 2.1 Firmware with Push Notification Service. As a follow-up to the previous iPhone 2.1 Firmware beta + GPS features, Apple has released another 2.1 firmware release to developers (2nd beta), iPhone 2.1 SDK with Push Notification Service. The new version appears to include several bug fixes.
“This is the second beta of the iPhone SDK targeting iPhone OS 2.1, including bug fixes to iPhone OS as well as an early implementation of the Apple Push Notification Service API. This API is not yet integrated with a live push server.”
No word on the final version of iPhone 2.1 Firmware release date, but the included “Push Notification Service” was promised by September.

T-Mobile Sidekick 2008 reviewed. Following the previous T-Mobile Sidekick 2008 Shell Images and also those T-Mobile Sidekick 2008 live pictures, The mobile phone has finally been reviewed by the folks behind PhoneArena. The overall dimensions are smaller than with the flagship Sidekick LX (at 2.6″ instead of 3.0″), but the buttons are the same as before. As you may already know this device can be personalized with Sidekick Shell Customizer and even custom ones can be created and ordered from sidekickshells.com for $15. AT&T iPhone 3G Text Accessibility Plan. AT&T announced that the Text Accessibility Plan (TAP) for iPhone 3G will give customers with disabilities unlimited text messaging, Web browsing and easy access to e-mail for $50 per month. Customers with disabilities wishing to use enterprise email can sign up for a $65 per month plan that features unlimited messaging, data, and support for enterprise email with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. New Gold Sony Ericsson W890, and Sony Ericsson K330 in White. A new report says that Sony Ericsson will release new color options for its cellphones, a new white colour trimming for the K330, and a gold one for the W890, a bit like the gold version of W880, that was introduced about a year ago.
