Motorola Clutch i465 is the first QWERTY iDEN messaging phone. The mobile phone offers Group Messaging, which lets customers create groups of up to 20 people to send messages to at the same time. It is an attractive utility device that meets Military Specification 810F for low pressure, high and low temperatures, dust, shock, vibration and solar radiation. It is also Java-enabled, comes with a digital still and video camera, and supports GPS, Bluetooth and third-party applications.

The mobile phone runs Windows Mobile 6.1, has a full QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera, 320 x 240 pixels screen. The Discovery Channel National Geographic in a partnership with RealNetworks will bring five casual games burst with educational material to mobile users. National Geographic’s partners also include Black Bean Games, Smart Bomb Interactive.

Great news for mobile music users in Singapore, SingTel has recently launched a free mobile music download service for its contract customers with selected phones. The service, branded SingTel AMPed, has been developed in partnership with Universal Music Group (UMG) and offers music videos and pre-release albums in addition to conventional music downloads. Interestingly, SingTel won’t charge data charges for using the service. Customers can also upload reviews and comments instantly, allowing them to upload photos, share and chat about their experiences with other music lovers. They can also link their news to popular social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
Commenting on the new service launch, SingTel’s Mr Allen Lew said: “SingTel, with Universal Music Group, will take our customers’ mobile music experience to unprecedented heights with AMPed. AMPed is another demonstration of SingTel’s transformation into a multimedia solutions company and how we are constantly developing new and innovative solutions that are relevant to our customers’ needs.”
