NEC, Casio and Hitachi merger delayed for a month

In 2009, NEC, Casio Computer and Hitachi were in talks to merge their mobile phone operations as early as April 2010, but that date will be missed as competition authorities required additional documentation. The launch of their merger on mobile handset operations will be delayed by about one month beyond its original schedule in April.
