Kobo to be preloaded on PlayBook, adds BBM enabled Social eReader App

Kobo has announced that it plans to preload the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet with Kobo. Kobo will come preloaded, bringing over 2.2 million books to the new BlackBerry tablet. Users will be able to access our massive catalog of free books, new releases, bestsellers and all time classics, download for free or buy, build their libraries and have a rich reading experience. Kobo will also be the first eReading service integrating BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) into its app – making eReading social, and real-time. As reminder, the BlackBerry Tablet will start hitting stores early in 2011.
