Kraft iFood Assistant 3.0 iPhone app released
Kraft Foods has announced the release of iFood Assistant 3.0, available in the US on iPhone and iPod touch devices. Kraft Foods partnered with Coupons.com to incorporate features of their Grocery iQ app such as mobile access to coupons and scanning of product barcodes to allow consumers to easily build their shopping list. At the touch of a finger, users can now view, print or e-mail coupons and, for select retailers, can add to their loyalty or savings cards. And by scanning the barcodes, they can easily add the products to their shopping list or search recipes using that item. To celebrate the release in the US, through October, Kraft Foods will offer $5 in coupons, only available to iFood Assistant 3.0 users.

What's New in Version 3.0
Developed by mobile specialists The Hyperfactory and Meredith Integrated Marketing, iFood Assistant 3.0 further builds on the functionality of the original. The new features include:

iFood Assistant 3.0 is now available for iPhone and iPod touch users for $0.99 by visiting the iTunes App Store. iFood Assistant is also available for Blackberry users (iFood Assistant LITE - free) and Android users (iFood Assistant - $0.99 and iFood Recipe of the Day Widget - free).
