Umeox Apollo solar-powered Android smartphone unveiled

A solar-powered Android smartphone has been announced - it's the Umeox Apollo. The solar panel is made using Intivation’s SunBoost3 Smart Cell solar module that works even in low-light conditions. The mobile phone also comes with a 3.2-inch 320×480 HVGA touchscreen display, 3MP camera, 512MB RAM, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, HSDPA, FM radio, WiFi and more. The 900/1800MHz model is expected to hit in Q2 of this year, and the 850/1900MHz model to hit in Q3.
