Verizon Wireless has added a new Samsung rugged clamshell phone to its portfolio - the Samsung Convoy 2. The successor to the original Samsung Convoy is so durable. The phone meets Military Specifications 810F standards for shock, low pressure (altitude), low and high temperature, temperature shock, solar radiation, salt fog, humidity, vibration, sand and dust.
Samsung Convoy 2 boasts a 3.2MP camera + flash, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, stereo speakers, Push to Talk, dual microphones with noise cancellation technology, HTML Web browser, Social networking features, microSD memory card slot, and so on.
Samsung Convoy 2 is available for $79.99 after a $50 mail in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
