Nexus S Android 2.3.6 Firmware update adds Voice Search Bug Fix
Google has released a new firmware update for the Nexus S, a pure Google experience phone. The new release is Android 2.3.6 OS baseband I9020AUCKF1 build number GRK39C. It's rolling out via over-the-air (OTA). The new minor update includes a fix for voice search bug issue, the problem with random voice search activations. Some users reported they lose Wi-Fi and USB tethering capability when upgrading. If you do not have the voice search bug, maybe you can just skip this update, while waiting for another firmware version to be released by the internet giant. Stay tuned.
