Vuzix Adds Brad Craig to Head New Developer Relations Program -- Company near production ramp-up of iWear Video Headphones

Vuzix Corporation, a leading supplier of Video Eyewear and Smart Glasses products in the consumer, enterprise, and entertainment markets, has announced the hiring of Brad Craig to head up developer relations activities. The position will directly support the commercial launch this fall of Vuzix iWear Video Headphones with Virtual Reality (VR) compatibility.

Brad will join Vuzix as the Director of Developer Relations. He has more than 25 years of hands-on experience in developing and enabling the supporting content ecosystem. He has the proven ability to work cross-functionally in both small companies and large complex global organizations within the technology sector. He has also been a key contributor in planning, building and launching cost effective, world-class products. Brad has launched key products for some of the industry's leading hardware and software companies, including Compaq, AMD, ATI, Future Publishing, Ingram Micro, Electronic Arts, Advanced Gravis, Forte Technologies and Razer. With every company, he has made significant contributions to revenue and developer community growth.

Brad has a vast network of industry contacts and enjoys the respect of the developer community. He has aided with product launches and evangelism efforts at AMD, ATI and Razer. He is also a well-known author and journalist, having served as editor of Boot Magazine (Maximum PC) and written for the hardware section of PC Gamer. Brad also is an advisor to the Open Gaming Alliance (OGA) and Gaming Business Review (GBR). He joins Vuzix from Razer, where he headed up developer relations efforts and served as an advisor to senior management.

The Company's award-winning iWear Video Headphones product is nearing production ramp-up. Final tooling adjustments and first engineering builds will be completed by the end of August. Volume production is expected to start several weeks thereafter, with shipments to Vuzix customers beginning in early October.
