Apple has announced that its iPad will be available in the US on Saturday, April 3, for Wi-Fi models and in late April for Wi-Fi + 3G models. In addition, all models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.
Beginning March 12, US customers can pre-order both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models from Apple’s online store (www.apple.com) or reserve a Wi-Fi model to pick up on Saturday, April 3, at an Apple retail store. Continue reading ‘Apple iPad Available in US on April 3′

Microsoft brings its first app to Android, called Microsoft Tag Reader.
Microsoft Tag Reader for Google Android allows you to use your phone as a mobile barcode reader. You simply point your phone’s camera at a tag, snap a picture, and the Tag program will interpret it.
Microsoft Tag Reader is also available for the Windows Mobile, J2ME, iPhone, Blackberry and Symbian S60 phones.
Microsoft Tag Reader is now available for download directly from the Android Market on your Android phone by searching for ‘Microsoft Tag’.
GelaSkins partners with Marvel to offer new Marvel Comics designs, providing a wide range of images from legendary comics for laptop and iPhone skins.
The new designs from Marvel include character images of Iron Man, Spider Man and X-Men. The designs will incorporate the characters themselves, along with classic designs of their original comic covers. Preset designs from each of these catalogs are initially available for laptops and iPhones specifically. The new images will also be available through the Do-It-Yourself service for all GelaSkins’ device templates including mobile phones, gaming devices and more. Google shares some tips on how to get the most out of the Google Buzz web app on your phone.
1. Search for a place to post from
Tagging a post with your location is easy and fun. You can just tap the location box in the posting screen to add a place name or an address. Or, you can search for a place. Click “>” in the location box and scroll down a bit to find the search box. This will allow you to search for places nearby and tag your post with that location.
2. Learn more about a tagged place
When you see a location tag and the little red pin attached to someone’s post, you might want to learn more about that place. Click ‘Show map’ to see the address of that place and a small map, which you can tap to see a bigger, fully functional map. You can also click the place link to view business details, reviews, photos, and more.

Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro Mobile is now available for FREE download. Connect Pro Mobile offers users mobile access via an iPhone or iPod touch to rich communications including collaborative meetings, training sessions and Web seminars. This application was developed using the Flash platform and the Packager for iPhone to publish it as a native iPhone application.
You can watch and listen to live presentations including real-time presenter webcam video and screen sharing demonstrations. You can see who is in the meeting at any given time, and collaborate with others using live text chat. VoIP meeting audio will broadcast straight to your device over a WiFi or 3G connection, or the meeting host may give you the option to join a telephone conference call.
Adobe will be able to use the same code to deliver this application on other mobile devices when AIR for mobile devices becomes available later this year. Adobe also anticipates iPad users will be able to take advantage of Connect Pro Mobile as well.

Following on recent Apple’s announcement that more than three billion iPhone apps have been downloaded from its AppStore worldwide. Apple gets another success with the iTunes which already sold its 10 billionth music download.
