Verizon LG Dare available. As a follow-up to the previous post, LG Dare on June 26, the touchscreen cameraphone is now available through Verizon online store. If you look for an all-touchscreen handset, LG Dare seems to be a good alternative to the iPhone 3G, this cellphone will give you a 3-inch touchscreen with haptic feedback, a 3.2 megapixel camera (with auto-focus, flash, and face-detection), Bluetooth A2DP, EVDO Rev. First Symbian Foundation Mobile Phones in 2010. Nokia said that The first devices using Symbian Foundation open-source code for mobile devices will become available in 2010. The Symbian Foundation itself will take shape in early 2009, after Nokia’s intended full acquisition of Symbian in the fourth quarter of this year–a development that is, of course, subject to regulatory approval. BlackBerry KickStart 9100 Flip-Phone. Following on previous BlackBerry 9100 KickStart More Pictures, Here’s more about the first ever BlackBerry clamshell. BlackBerry 9100 will sport a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio, WiFi, 2 megapixel camera, and standard 3.5mm headphone jack along with BlackBerry staples like the “Next Gen” SureType keyboard and BlackBerry OS. This smartphone is expected to run BlackBerry OS 4.6 (eventhough the picture seems to show otherwise). It’s thicker than the BlackBerry Bold 9000.
