Customers can watch clips of 1 to 4 minutes in length, such as music videos, sports news, movie trailers and more. Interestingly, users will also be able to search and make recommendations. The service is available now on selected handsets through a WAP browser.

VLC Media Player for iPhone, iPod Touch. The popular VLC media player was just announced by Zodttd to be available for Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. As you may know, VLC by is a popular multi-format video and audio player for a wide variety of systems. VLC for iPhone/iPod Touch allows selected testers to playback MPEG/MPG, AVI and MP3 files. According to the author, Soon it will play: FLAC, OGG formats. He is also researching playback of: VCD, DivX, WMA, WMV. The application requires a jailbroken phone for installation. VLC for iPhone/iPod Touch is currently in private beta, but it will be released soon. Stay tuned.

Flash Video Support Update for CorePlayer Mobile. One of the best digital media players has been updated to include the Flash video support — actually that’s Adobe Flash Multimedia Container (FLV, F4V) support. In addition, the new version also adds support for site specific functions like “Revision3 via RSS” with an idea to allow users to more easily subscribe to their favorite podcasts.
