Spore Origins for Nokia N-Gage. Good news for Ngage users, after Spore Origins Mobile Game for iPhone, Recently, EA Mobile announced that Spore Origins will be coming soon on Nokia’s N-Gage platform.
The game takes full advantage of the NGage functionality whilst allowing players to manouvere their way through a world made of primordial ooze. Spore™ Origins will sit alongside other EA titles already launched on N-Gage, such as Tetris®, The Sims 2™ Pets and EA SPORTS™ FIFA 08.

Nokia E75 spotted in the wild. New Nokia E-series handset, E75 QWERTY slider phone, has recently been spotted in the wild. Interestingly, according to the rumor, there’s QWERTY keyboard that’s rumored to lie beneath the slide-out display, alas we don’t get a clear shot. Resident Evil Degeneration for Mobile Game Nokia N-Gage. Nokia and Capcom announced that Resident Evil Degeneration will be released on N-Gage later this year. With gameplay optimized for N-Gage, including two separate play modes, plus multiple mission types and 3D quality graphics, Resident Evil Degeneration is a cutting edge title that illustrates the unique capabilities of the N-Gage platform.
The game, part-based on the upcoming October theatrical release in Japan full-length CG motion picture of the same name, focuses on the release of a deadly virus by a terrorist at a US airport and follows series favourites Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield, as they attempt to destroy the virus and prevent it from being dispersed across the country. Resident Evil Degeneration is the first full-length CG motion picture from the Resident Evil series, widely considered to be the benchmark of the survival horror video game genre.

Nokia Maemo 5 Linux OS revealed. The 5th generation Maemo mobile OS has recently been revealed by Nokia. Maemo 5 will apparently include HSPA connectivity for broadband anywhere, powerful computing with TI OMAP3 processor - for better performance and better graphics performance, photo sharing with hi-def camera - imaging and photo-sharing.
Nokia is now Gold Sponsor of Linux Foundation, has contributed code today for 3G/HSPA cellular (data) connectivity for OMAP3 to Linux kernel. No word on backward compatibility for older devices yet. Stay tuned.

Nokia announced that it is expanding its device range which enables Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync to all Nokia S60 3rd Edition devices. 43 Nokia devices will now feature the Mail for Exchange mobile email application, making Nokia’s device range the largest ever to enable the solution chosen by more businesses than any other messaging solution. Nokia also announced today that Mail for Exchange will be available out-of-the-box in future releases of Nokia Eseries and Nokia Nseries devices. Nokia 5800 Tube for UK on Oct 8th? A new rumor about the first touchscreen Nokia 5800 Tube. The handset will reportedly be released in the UK as early as October 8th. Nokia N96 + BBC iPlayer. BBC have announced iPlayer support for Nokia N96. Nokia N96 users will be the first with the ability to both to download and stream programmes from the service. Interestingly, it will be able to use both 3G and WiFi. The BBC iPlayer application is also available to download via bbc.co.uk/mobile.

New Firmware Update for Nokia N95. This new update optimizes the popular N-series handset’s performance and improves the overall stability. V30.0.015 is available now on NSU for some product codes- and that’s the classic N95-1 only. N95 8GB users can expect a v30.0.018 update available shortly on NSU- for now, a trip to your local Nokia Service Center should square you away with the update.
