The shipments of the Nokia N900, Nokia’s latest mobile computer based on open source Maemo 5 software, have now started. The Nokia N900 will be available in retail stores in November with an estimated retail price of EUR 500, excluding sales taxes and subsidies. Those not familiar with the Nokia N900 should know that it comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, powerful ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 5-megapixel Car Zeiss camera and Maemo 5 OS. A new firmware update has been released for Nokia N86. The new version 20.115 comes with the new face detection feature and a lot of bug fixes. It’s the first Nokia device to get face detection.
