With the use of AetherPal, Scicom will be able to remotely handle and resolve any issues that occur on a Smartphone, independent of its location. Orange and Netvibes have announced a partnership to bring the world’s largest collection of mobile widgets to all types of mobile phone user across an extensive range of handsets. Netvibes’ huge catalogue of nearly 200,000 real-time widgets will be available on Orange widgets, a service featuring on 80% of handsets shipped by Orange. It will also be available on djinngo mobile, an Orange service open to any mobile phone user in the world. And soon, mobile widgets will be available to Orange customers in the recently launched Orange Application Shop. 
SouthernLINC Wireless has announced it has added 11 new calling plans and three new phone models to its product and service offerings. Three new Motorola phones – the Brute i680, the i890 and the Clutch i465 Graphite – are now available from SouthernLINC Wireless. All models feature the carrier’s premier Push To Talk (PTT) two-way radio service, which facilitates immediate, reliable and private communications. 
Truphone has announced a strategic wholesale agreement with Optus, a leading Australian telecommunications provider. The agreement will provide Truphone access to the Optus national mobile network to deliver voice, data solutions and local mobile numbers in Australia for its newly launched Truphone Local Anywhere GSM service. Truphone plans to launch the local Australian service in mid 2010.

The acquisition demonstrates Truphone’s commitment to establishing operations in Australia and the global expansion of its Truphone Local Anywhere service.

StewartSoft has launched twiddish, a new social network and geo-location mobile application for iPhone and iPod Touch that allows diners nationwide to discover the best and worst restaurant dishes through user-generated photograph-based dish reviews. The twiddish application compliments the online twiddish social network by providing users, aka dishers, with the real-time micro-blogging tools needed to share their dining experiences with fellow diners on a visual dish-by-dish basis.
