HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) Keyboard gets reviewed. Following on previous post, HTC Touch Pro (aka Raphael) now Official, It’s great to hear a keyboard review for HTC Touch Pro (codename: Raphael) especially for you who’re interested in buying this handset, The folks behind MobileBurn got their lucky hands on the QWERTY keyboard-toting Windows Mobile 6.1 superphones. According to them, The keys on the Touch Pro are certainly smaller than those found on devices like HTC’s Wing for T-Mobile or its Tilt for AT&T, but they are still very usable - much more so than those found on Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Xperia X1. They have a very good feel to them and are easy to find by touch even though they are all snugly lined up right next to each other. They didn’t get to see the TouchFLO 3D user interface running on the Touch Pro (HTC’s keeping a few things under wraps just yet). Wow, we can’t wait for the OS review. BlackBerry 9100 will sport a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio, WiFi, 2 megapixel camera, and standard 3.5mm headphone jack along with BlackBerry staples like the “Next Gen” SureType keyboard and BlackBerry OS. This smartphone is expected to run BlackBerry OS 4.6 (eventhough the picture seems to show otherwise). It’s thicker than the BlackBerry Bold 9000. BlackBerry 8820 for Rogers CanadaBlackBerry 8820 for Rogers Canada. BlackBerry 8820 is the successor to the old 8800 model which has been discontinued by Rogers. The spec is similar, only adding WiFi connectivity to the mix. Unfortunately, the 8820 model has no camera, but it seems it’s for security reason in many enterprise. Rogers BlackBerry 8820 is already available for CA$349 on a three-year contract, CA$499 for 2-year, and CA$549 for a single year contract.

Following on previous report, Samsung SGH-i780 as ‘Samsung i788′ for AT&T?, A new rumor said that Samsung i788 coming to AT&T as Samsung BlackJack III. Samsung i788 is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional device, complete with touch screen. This new and freshly rumored device apparently will pack the 3G frequencies that the Samsung i780 doesn’t have, stylus, optical touchpad, WiFi, HSDPA, and GPS. Stay tuned.

As a follow-up to the previous post, Toshiba Portégé G810 Windows Mobile Smartphone, According to Akihabara, this WinMo handset will be released on June 20th. Let’s recap, This all-touchscreen device features a large 2.8-inch display, QVGA (240×320 pixels). There’s also WiFi, GPS (and A-GPS support), Bluetooth, FM radio, HSDPA/HSUPA, and a microSD memory expansion slot. Toshiba Portégé G810 runs Windows Mobile 6.1 with some custom UI, and sports up to 4GB of memory (microSD).

BlackBerry 9100 KickStart More Pictures. From the previous posts, we’re already aware of this BlackBerry Kickstart Clamshell on T-Mobile USA (more details). It’s good to see that RIM is preparing to launch its first clamshell flip phone. From the last report we know that the mobile phone will be a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio, 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack into the device. The internal display is reported to be a QVGA 240×320 jobby, while the external one display sports a 160×128 pixel resolution. The SureType keyboard is apparently a next-generation version of the double-letter keyboard, and BlackBerry OS 4.6.
