HTC Touch Diamond ROM Update 1.93. New HTC Touch Diamond ROM is now available for HTC customers. This new ROM version 1.93 can be downloaded through HTC’s support site. Apparently, this ROM firmware improves camera navigation, text alert speed, tab-switching speed and a new city selector in the weather tab to make it easier and quicker to choose your location. We recommend you to backup your files, pictures and other documents before upgrading your Diamond. You can download it via HTC eClub here.

Motorola Atila Touchscreen Phone. Here’s now Motorola Alexander’s non-QWERTY counterpart, Motorola Atila. The Atila is actually the first Motorola device that will have tri-band UMTS/HSDPA. The all-touchscreen phone can be an iPhone 3G-fighter. Motorola Atila will reportedly feature a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display.

Samsung i900 Omnia Firmware update. Samsung Singapore just made its first ROM update for the SGH-i900 Omnia Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone available. The self-service ROM update (no more service center returns) should include new functionalities like new widgets for Samsung’s custom Today screen and a brand-new Hanyu Pinyin text input method for typing in Chinese characters as well as several bug fixes.

White Samsung Omnia i900? We’ve already seen the all-touchscreen device only in black, and what’s now? another choice will emerge as a white version will be released. Samsung i900 Omnia runs Windows Mobile 6.1, a 5 megapixel camera with face-detection and geo-tagging, optical joystick. Interestingly, the company will be releasing a new firmware which includes new widgets for the custom Home screen and a brand-new Hanyu Pinyin text input method for typing in Chinese characters. Samsung can confirm these changes only for Singapore at the moment.
