This’s not a variant to the Nokia 5800 XpressMedia Tube. The interesting part is that the cylindrical handset sports a piece of movable material between the screen and the keypad (called a “ribbon” in the patent) that can slide up and down. There are two different UIs in this cylindrical phone, depending on the position of the ribbon. The handset can act like a phone and it can also reveals a camera module (placed on the back) and the UI changes to one suited for operating a camera.
