Following on recent report, Garmin Nuvifone gets Hands-on, we hear that Garmin has just signed a multi year global agreement with GyPsii, a geo-location and mobile social networking provider, according to a statement from GyPsii. As per the agreement terms, GyPsii will provide technology, products, worldwide data center infrastructure, development licenses and GyPsii branding rights to Garmin. GyPsii would provide the rights on a non-exclusive basis, for a variety of Garmin products. The deal would help Garmin to incorporate in its future products, friend finding applications that support the GyPsii-powered-location-based social networking services platform. Sony for PSP Phone without EricssonSony for PSP Phone without Ericsson? A new rumor said that Sony will split from Ericsson for PSP phone because of “Frosty” relationship. An industry source is quoted as saying the relationship between Sony and Sony Ericsson has become “frosty”, that Sony has learned from its “strategic error” of giving its Walkman name to Sony Ericsson and that Sony would “never” give its PlayStation branding to the Sony Ericsson joint venture. We can’t wait fot the PlayStation-branded-mobile-phone to come. Stay tuned.

If you look for an all-touchscreen handset, LG Dare seems to be a good alternative to the iPhone 3G, this cellphone will give you a 3-inch touchscreen with haptic feedback, a 3.2 megapixel camera (with auto-focus, flash, and face-detection), Bluetooth A2DP, EVDO Rev.
