Samsung D980 Touchscreen phone with dual-SIM announced in Russia. A new all-touchscreen handset has been officially announced in Russia, it’s dual-SIM equipped Samsung D980. The mobile phone comes with a large 2.6-inch QVGA touchscreen, tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE radio (900/1800/1900 MHz), a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.
There are also media player, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR connectivity support, document reader, and a microSD memory expansion slot. Unfortunately, it lacks 3G support, but it seems not to be a dealbreaker for many Russians, since 3G is not yet widespread across the country. No word on the exact release date nor price of the Samsung D980 for Russia yet.
