+ Install 3Proxy and MobileTerminal (available from the “Cydia” application that was installed during the iPhone 3G jailbreak)
+ Create an ad-hoc WiFi network on your laptop
+ Join the network with your iPhone
+ Find out the iPhone’s IP address
+ Open MobileTerminal and run the proxy program
+ Open Safari on your iPhone and open a web page
+ Configure your browser to use the proxy
+ Done.

Subscribers willing to sign a contract for a €69/month wireless plan will be offered an 8GB Apple iPhone 3G for just 1 EUR, and a 16GB iPhone 3G costs 40 euros. With an 89 Euro per month plan, you can still get the 8GB iPhone for 1 Euro, but the 16GB model will cost only 20 Euros. With a base 29 Euro per month plan, the 8GB iPhone will cost 170 Euros and the 16GB iPhone 260 Euros.

Mobile TeleSystems and MegaFon, two of Russia’s largest wireless carriers, have confirmed talks with Apple to offer the highly sought-after iPhone. VimpelCom (Russia’s second-largest network) has also been rumored to make a bid to carry the iPhone as the network moves to switch on its 3G network in Russia this year.

Following iPhone 3G for Rogers Canada on July 11th, Fido announced it will also offer the Apple iPhone 3G to Canadians when the device launches on July 11. The carrier says that iPhone 3G will be available to Fido customers at $199 for the 8Gb model and $299 for the 16Gb model on a three-year price plan.
