Sprint Palm Treo 800w display compatibility issues. Following the previous official Sprint Palm Treo 800w, we’ve recently heard that the Palm Treo 800w display’s square-shape and non-standard resolution have proven to be an issue for some users attached to certain Windows Mobile applications. While previous Palm Treo handsets with 240×240 displays worked well, the new 320×320 display screen doesn’t fit well with some applications. Sprint Palm Treo 800w Data Sheets. Following on the previous Sprint Palm Treo 800w release confirmed on July 13th, Palm Treo 800w data sheet for Sprint has been leaked. For you who’re already waiting for this Palm’s device, Palm Treo 800w with ProductID: PTR800HK will be coming soon.
Palm Treo 800w will be available from Sprint for a $349.99 with 2-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate, or $424.00 with a 1-year contract and $100 rebate. Sprint has started accepting pre-orders for the device through its Telesales system (877-639-8351).

Palm Skywriter (Drucker) in beta? We’ve just heard Sprint Treo 800w Release Date and details, According to TamsPPC, Palm has opened up Windows Mobile development access to promotional materials for the Palm Zeppelin and Palm Skywriter. The codename “Zeppelin” is the internal codename for the Palm Treo 800w, so there’s nothing new there. But, the appearance of the Palm “Skywriter” is definitely a new development.
The image you see above is likely a mock-up of the Palm Skywriter (looks ugly?). Other speculation said the Palm Skywriter will be the same device as the mysterious GPS, WiFi and HSDPA-toting Palm Drucker that’s slated for the same launch window as the Palm Skywriter - July 2008. Palm Treo 800w is also expected to go live on July 22.
