Adobe Flash for iPhone confirmed. Following the previous reports about Adobe to make Flash compatible with iPhone, Flash Lite on iPhone, Adobe Flash running on iPhone emulator, Finally, Good news for iPhone users, Flash for the iPhone was confirmed by Adobe at FOTB (Flash On The Beach). Sr. Director of Engineering at Adobe Systems Paul Betlem, confirmed that Adobe is indeed developing a Flash Player for the iPhone. However, Apple calls the shots as to when it’ll be available. He noted that Apple makes all the decisions, so in other words, the ball is in Apple’s yard at this time. If Apple says yes, Adobe will have the player available in a very short time. Yes, we can’t wait!

Yeah, while Adobe to make Flash compatible with iPhone, we’ve recently heard that Adobe Flash client has been ported over to the iPhone as a native application, making it possible to interact with Flash-based webpage elements. Joos’ impetus for porting Flash Lite was development of the “Rock Werchter Mobile Guide,” a mobile phone-based music festival handbook. One of the best digital media players has been updated to include the Flash video support — actually that’s Adobe Flash Multimedia Container (FLV, F4V) support. In addition, the new version also adds support for site specific functions like “Revision3 via RSS” with an idea to allow users to more easily subscribe to their favorite podcasts.
