Adobe Flash for iPhone confirmed. Following the previous reports about Adobe to make Flash compatible with iPhone, Flash Lite on iPhone, Adobe Flash running on iPhone emulator, Finally, Good news for iPhone users, Flash for the iPhone was confirmed by Adobe at FOTB (Flash On The Beach). Sr. Director of Engineering at Adobe Systems Paul Betlem, confirmed that Adobe is indeed developing a Flash Player for the iPhone. However, Apple calls the shots as to when it’ll be available. He noted that Apple makes all the decisions, so in other words, the ball is in Apple’s yard at this time. If Apple says yes, Adobe will have the player available in a very short time. Yes, we can’t wait!

OpenClip for iPhone Cut-Paste. Yeah, as many iPhone users can’t wait for iPhone copy Paste functionality to be released by Apple. Here’s now another hope is promised by an independent developer, Zac White, an open-source solution called: ‘OpenClip’. Actually there have been efforts by other iPhone developers to introduce this feature before. Another developer, Preston Monroe, has created a hack called iCopy that lets iPhone owners copy and paste between the e-mail and Web browser applications. Palringo for iPhone + Vocal Instant Messaging functionality. Multi-network IM client for the iPhone, Palringo app, announced the addition of the vocal IM functionality aka push-to-talk to its rich messaging application to make it even more usable for the end-users.

iPhone Nano in Q4 2008? iPhone Nano Rumor Revived, a new report claimed that Apple has been working on a smaller iPhone for the entry-level iPhone user with limited features compared to the iPhone 3G, a “nano” version of the iPhone would be shipping in time for Christmas. Since it’s a rumor, there is no expected time-frame for that product’s release.

iPhone 2.0.1 OS Update via iTunes. A new firmware has been released by Apple for the previous iPhone 2.0 OS. This new firmware upgrade seems to improve the iPhone’s stability and speed. You can already download the 250MB firmware through your iTunes.
How to Share Applications between iPhones. The Fairplay DRM that Apple uses to protect its iPhone applications from piracy allows you to authorize up to 5 computers to share your iTunes purchases. You can share iPhone apps with each other as long as both your iTunes are authorized to use them e.g. you want to share it with your wife/family. Melvin Rivera, a web developer located in New York has wrote a step by step tutorial on how to do it. Here’s a quick rundown of Melvin’s tutorial:
0. You can buy an app from your iTunes e.g. Super Monkey Ball game (This is just a sample for demonstration purposes)
1. Download the app to iTunes and sync to your iPhone
2. In your Family member’s mac, ‘Log In’ to their iTunes application with ‘your’ iTunes Store account
3. ‘Log Out’ and then back ‘Log In’
4. Inside iTunes, Go to the app store, Find Super Monkey Ball game and click ‘Buy’ App button
5. ‘Re-download’ the Super Monkey Ball game application
(iTunes knows you’ve already paid for this, you can download it again for free)
6. If download completes, then ‘Log Out’ of ‘your’ iTunes account
7. Log back in with your-family-member’s iTunes account
8. Sync the iPhone (The app should transfer)
9. and Done! You should now have Super Monkey Ball mobile game on two different iPhones.
