BlackBerry OS 4.5 Update for Rogers + Bell Canada. Both Bell Mobility and Rogers Wireless have officially launched BlackBerry OS 4.5 for their smartphones. This new OS update is for the Curve 8310 and 8320 if you’re on Rogers. And if you’re a Bell’s customer, it should be for your BlackBerry Curve 8330 or/and Pearl 8130. Bell LG Wine launched. The LG Wine aka KF300 clamshell is now exclusively available on Bell Mobility in Canada. The cellphone comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, 2.2-inch screen, GPS, and Bluetooth. Interestingly, Bell is also launching a creative contest to give its users a chance to win a wine fridge. LG Wine on Bell Canada is available in black and gold for $79.95 with a 3-year contract.

BlackBerry Storm for Bell Canada. An unconfirmed rumor reported that the touchscreen BlackBerry Storm will be exclusively come to Bell in Canada. According to an anonymous tipster:
“Bell Mobility will be in fact releasing the Storm in mid Q4/early Q1. Also it will be exclusive for 6 months to the Bell system. So Telus will have to wait.”

Mastercard PayPass + Bell Mobility for Mobile Payments. MasterCard starts Mobile Payment trial with Bell Mobility customers until November 2008. Participants on the trial can use their mobile phone to make “contactless” payments at any merchant that accepts MasterCard PayPass (24 million locations such as fast food restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and convenience stores). No signature is not required for purchases under that is under 50 bucks. All you have to do is tap your phone (within 2 inches) to the payment reader and the dollar amount will show up on your monthly credit card statement.

As Samsung Instinct for Bell Mobility in Canada, For internet-fans, Telus is also offering a $15 unlimited email and IM (instant message) data package alongside a $30 unlimited internet, email, and IM data add-on. LG Vantage for Bell Canada now available. LG Vantage is now available on Bell Mobility in Canada. It’s another touchscreen phone with a slide keypad. LG Vantage sports a 2 megapixel camera for both photos and videos, 2.8-inch touchscreen with vibe feedback, built-in GPS receiver, stereo Bluetooth, EV-DO support, and a microSD memory expansion slot. This 15mm thick slider is a good alternative to be used as a music and video player. The device also comes along with A/C travel charger, 512MB MicroSD memory card with adapter and stereo headset. Samsung Ace (which has BlackJack look and feel) will sport a full QWERTY keyboard, Windows Mobile 6 Standard edition, 1.3 megapixel camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth support. Sadly, The cellphone has no 3G / WiFi. Samsung Ace will be available on May 12th when it officially hits the Bell’s portfolio.
