Rogers BlackBerry Bold Smartphone now official. Following the previous Rogers’ BlackBerry Smartphone Roadmap (leaked), BlackBerry Bold from Rogers Wireless Canada has finally been introduced by RIM and the carrier. The smartphone features a next-generation 624 MHz mobile processor that powers the renowned BlackBerry productivity applications, including phone, email, messaging, organizer and browser, and works with thousands of mobile business and lifestyle applications. With this powerful new smartphone, users can even talk on the phone while sending and receiving email, accessing the web or using GPS-based navigation. The BlackBerry Bold also lets customers edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents directly on the handset using the preloaded DataViz Documents to Go software suite, making it easier than ever to stay connected and productive while on the go. BlackBerry Bold Reviewed. Following on the previous report, BlackBerry Bold approved by FCC, we can’t wait for the latest RIM’s smartphone. Fortunately, for you who’re waiting the device, Boy Genius has written a review for the Bold. The HSDPA-enabled device has a high-resolution 480 x 360 display that’s the most vibrant, color-rich, sharp screen they’ve ever seen on a mobile device. BlackBerry OS 4.6 for Bold 9000, Touchscreen Thunder 9500. Horizon Wireless Online has a detail of Blackberry OS 4.6 for 9000 / 9500 (latest build: 4.6.0.60). That is the latest version of the official blackberry OS “version 4.6″ for most newer Blackberry models like the Bold 9000 Meteor and the 9500 Thunder. BlackBerry OS 4.6 offers a richer web-browsing experience. The track-ball will allow you to navigate around a full webpage as well as zooming in and out with a simple click - the BlackBerry 9500 Thunder will presumably allow for finger-based zooming. BlackBerry OS 4.6 also brings “Music Sync” clock application. It’s a synchronization application for selecting and transferring music from a computer to a BlackBerry smartphone. We’ve heard that AT&T - First U.S. Carrier to offer BlackBerry Bold 9000, It’s now for Canada, Rogers Wireless will be the first Canadian carrier to offer the newly announced BlackBerry Bold 9000 in Canada. No pricing nor date is confirmed, but you can sign-up and when the latest BlackBerry smartphone become available, you’ll be notified by Rogers Wireless.

AT&T - First U.S. Carrier to offer BlackBerry Bold 9000. The first carrier in the U.S. to offer BlackBerry Bold will be AT&T, with other carriers to follow within few weeks. In a report highlighting the recent boost in RIM’s stock price, it’s noted that AT&T will be “the exclusive carrier for the Bold in the US.”
