Windows Live Search for BlackBerry Smartphones. Microsoft and RIM announced they are working together to integrate rich Live Search capabilities into the BlackBerry Browser and BlackBerry Maps. BlackBerry smartphone users will be able to use Microsoft Live Search as their search engine of choice within the BlackBerry Browser as well as access Live Search on Mobile.BlackBerry.com. BlackBerry smartphone customers will also be able to use Live Search to perform contextual, location-sensitive searches or look for nearby points of interest from inside BlackBerry Maps. BlackBerry Storm 9530 for Verizon delayed 3-4 weeks. Following the previous rumor about BlackBerry 9530 Thunder for Verizon on October 13?, According to Boy Genius, BlackBerry Storm just went into technical acceptance at Verizon which usually takes around 3-4 weeks, and Verizon reportedly still has to work out the sluggish bugs and polish the UI up a bit before releasing it to the general public, so the BlackBerry Storm has been delayed 3-4 weeks. That puts us around a mid-November launch on Verizon.

The smartphone features a next-generation 624 MHz mobile processor that powers the renowned BlackBerry productivity applications, including phone, email, messaging, organizer and browser, and works with thousands of mobile business and lifestyle applications. With this powerful new smartphone, users can even talk on the phone while sending and receiving email, accessing the web or using GPS-based navigation. The BlackBerry Bold also lets customers edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents directly on the handset using the preloaded DataViz Documents to Go software suite, making it easier than ever to stay connected and productive while on the go. BlackBerry Bold for Orange UK. Following the previous BlackBerry 9000 Bold for Chile, BlackBerry Bold will be offered by Orange on August 16th, so it’s the first mobile operator in the United Kingdom to offer the smartphone.
Interested buyers have to sign an 18-month agreement and hand over £45 (about $90) per month to grab the QWERTY-enabled handset.

BlackBerry Javelin More Details. Following the previous BlackBerry Javelin Live Pictures, Here’s now more spec details for Javelin. The BlackBerry Javelin is the lower-end counterpart to the BlackBerry Bold 9000. BlackBerry Javelin is considered to be the EDGE-only variant of the BlackBerry Bold 9000, the Javelin will feature OS 4.6.1. It keeps Bold’s 480×360 display, a 512Mhz CPU, 256MB of RAM, 3.2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, and WiFi (with support for T-Mobile’s HotSpot @Home UMA service). BlackBerry Javelin seems to be expected for T-Mobile’s network. Stewart Copeland soundtrack for BlackBerry Bold. RIM commissions the prolific composer and former drummer for The Police to create a ’soundtrack’ for the BlackBerry Bold. The result was a signature five-note melody which Copeland expanded into a percussive minute-long track simply named ‘Bold’ that’s preloaded (along with mock-up album art!) into the Bold’s ‘Sample Songs’ folder. In addition, a softer version with a fade-in is used as an “alarm tone”, while six variations (excerpts form various parts of the Bold theme) are available as ringtones.

BlackBerry 9000 Bold for Chile. From the previous report, BlackBerry Bold approved by FCC, the people in the US and Canada can’t wait for it to grab this smartphone. Interestingly, before it happens, Movistar in Chile becomes the first carrier in the world to launch the BlackBerry Bold 9000. The RIM’s QWERTY-enabled smartphone is officially available for 299,990 Chilean pesos (about $588) on a two-year contract.
