Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte encrusted with 1000 Diamonds. Another luxury phone, a diamond encrusted Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte has been unveiled by Swiss luxury designer and jeweler Knalihs Athem. The exclusive limited edition device is encrusted with more than a thousand finest quality brilliant cut diamonds that weigh 6.75 carats in total. Each Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte will be accompanied by appropriate and official diamond grading report from a gemological lab. Interestingly, the handset can also be personalized with name, initials, logo, symbols, et cetera.

This special edition luxury phone is made out of solid 18 carat white gold and is encrusted with more than 680 best quality pink and white brilliant cut diamonds that weigh 21.5 carats or more in total. Peter Aloisson’s Nokia 8800 Arte Pink costs 85,000 EUR (about $131,000) without VAT, which adds 20% on top of the price. That doesn’t include transport and insurance costs either.
