Pantech SKY IM-S360L for LG Telecom. A new cellphone has recently been introduced by South Korea’s Pantech, it’s a stylish slider, IM-S360L. The EV-DO enabled cellphone is designed to work with LG Telecom’s CDMA network.
Pantech SKY IM-S360L sports 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth support, and a memory card slot. There are also pre-installed apps including media player, web browser, email client and a dictionary.

4G LTE planned by MetroPCS. We’ve heard some plans before about LTE network: Alltel for 4G LTE Network, 4G LTE Network by AT&T in 2012, and Verizon LTE Network (700 MHz spectrum) in 2010, it’s now Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology for MetroPCS’ upcoming 4G network. While MetroPCS currently operates its own CDMA network, LTE is on the upgrade path for GSM networks, meaning the move will be a technology shift for the carrier. LTE technology will allow wireless carriers to use their wireless spectrum more efficiently, reduce power draw on handsets, and deliver wireless data speeds that will outdo current wireless broadband solutions.

HTC Touch Diamond CDMA on FCC. Following on previouse Sprint HTC Touch Diamond in the wild, The CDMA version of Touch Diamond has recently been spotted on the FCC webpage. As we already heard that HTC Touch Diamond for Telus Canada. Then we can’t wait for it to be available for Verizon and Sprint soon. Stay tuned.

MetroPCS MetroFlash service for Sprint, Verizon, Alltel handsets. MetroPCS announced a new service called ‘MetroFlash’. With this, Sprint, Verizon, and Alltel phones can now be used on the MetroFlash flat-rate wireless service for a $40 a-month fee. CDMA mobile phones (which tested by MetroPCS) can be “flashed” by MetroPCS to work on their CDMA network. Of course, the service is limited to CDMA handsets, as GSM handsets, like the iPhone, work on a completely different communications standard. LG Dare on June 26. Verizon has announced the LG Dare alongside the LG Decoy and LG Chocolate 3 for CDMA network. LG Dare comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G, VCAST, and VZ Navigator. The touchscreen device has also VGA video recording, HTML Browser, 3.5mm headset jack, handwriting recognition, Bluetooth 2.0, EVDO Rev A, microUSB, and microSDHC (8GB), as well as a light sensor and proximity sensor to adjust screen brightness and turn off the LCD accordingly (for battery life). This LG handset is expected to be launched on June 26th.

You might have heard Nokia CDMA Phones: 3606, 1606 at CTIA Las Vegas 2008, Recently, Nokia is keeping up with its entry-level push with another handset, Nokia 6205 flip for Verizon’s CDMA network. Nokia 6205 Clamshell isn’t as slim and clean as the Nokia 3606 and 1606, but it has more features.

Telstra to stop CDMA for HSDPA Network. Following the approval by the Australian government, Australia’s Telstra will be switching off its CDMA network in favor of the new HSDPA-enabled 3G network. According to The Australian, initially the government resisted giving green light to the mobile operator over concerns that the new network would not be able to provide coverage in more remote areas and other technical issues.
