LG HB620T + DVB-T tuner. Following the previous report about LG KB770 + DVB-T for mobile TV, Here’s now another cell phone with a DVB-T tuner - the LG HB620T. The mobile phone also sports 2-inch screen, HSDPA, 2 megapixel camera, media player, and memory cards.
LG-HB620T is set to be released first in Germany, and O2, T-Mobile, and Vodafone, will be among the first ones to get it. France, Greek, Czech and Austria are also possible targets for a consequent launch, where DVB-T is a commercialized service. No word on pricing yet. Stay tuned.

Water Cube 2008 Olympic Phone. This cell phone is apparently inspired by the Beijing National Aquatics Center aka ‘Water Cube’ building at the Beijing Olympics where Michael Phelps broke all records. Water cube cell phone has a tri-band GSM radio without the 850Mhz band, 2.4 inch LCD display (240×320 pixels), 3D interface, USB, MP3, FM radio, Bluetooth, and more. Nokia 6210 Navigator for India. Nokia has launched the successor to the 6110 Navigator, the 6210 Navigator, in India. This GPS-enabled cell phone was unveiled during this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
Nokia 6210 Navigator runs Symbian S60 OS. It has also Nokia Maps 2.0 and compass application that can help drivers, explorers, or pedestrians. Mobile Picture Books in Japan. A printing company is launching its first cell phone picture book, the mobile picture books are designed to be read page by page, without much scrolling - just clicking from page to page. There will be both popular children’s titles and original content published. The company hopes to have 50 titles and 10,000 downloads by September of this year 2008. The mobile Picture Books are available each for 100-200 yen (about $1-2).

Philips X800 approved by the FCC. As a follow-up to the last post, Philips Xenium X800 - Full Touchscreen Cell Phone?, This mobile phone was finally approved by the FCC. Philips X800 will sport a 2.9-inch WQVGA (240×400 pixels) 256K colors touchscreen display, 2 megapixel camera, GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900 MHz), EDGE, stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) support, and a microSD memory expansion slot.
