Alltel Samsung Hue II (SCH-r600) released. The successor to the popular Samsung Hue clamshell, called Samsung Hue II (model name SCH-r600) has been released by Alltel. The mobile phone comes with a 2.2-inch screen, A-GPS, Bluetooth, music player with dedicated control keys, 2 megapixel camera for both photos and videos, email application, 54MB of internal memory that is further expandable with microSD cards. The device measures 3.8×1.9×0.7 inches and has a weight of 3.4 ounces. No word on price nor exact availability date. Stay tuned.

LG Wine KF300 for Orange UK. LG KF300 aka LG Wine has been announced by LG to be available exclusively through Orange in the UK. The mid-range clamshell features a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, music player, and a microSD memory card expansion slot. It’s already available from Orange UK and price varies depending on the contract selected.
LG KP152 clamshell for entry-level users. A new stylish LG clamshell, KP152, has been released in Brazil. The mobile phone comes with a tri-band GSM/GPRS radio on board, VGA camera, FM radio, and a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery. As for the size, the LG KP152 measures 88×47×17.3 mm and has a weight of 80 grams.
Nokia 1606 for Cricket Wireless. Are you looking for a simple and basic clamshell phone? Nokia 1606 offered by Cricket Wireless can be your alternative to buy. Verizon LG VX5500 coming soon. A new low-end clamshell will be added to Verizon’s portfolio later this month, it’s the LG VX5500. The mobile phone comes with a Bluetooth support, two color screens (internal and external), VGA camera, mobile web 2.0. Unfortunately, there’s no microSD memory card slot. The VX5500 will sell for $49.99 after a $50 rebate with a 2-year contract.
Samsung T109 clamshell on T-Mobile. A new low-end clamshell by Samsung has been added to T-Mobile’s portfolio, it’s Samsung T109. The mobile phone is a basic device with a dual-band GSM/GPRS radio (without EDGE) and only a 65k-color screen. It lacks a camera, Fortunately it’s still myFaves compatible. No word on price, but it should be cheap.
Samsung SCH-R550 JetSet on Cricket. A new low-to-mid range clamshell has been added to Cricket’s portfolio. The mobile phone has two screens: internal 2.1-inch QVGA and external 1-inch 96×96 pixels. It features a 2 megapixel camera that can take both photos and videos, music player with dedicated control keys. There are also EV-DO support, stereo Bluetooth support, 2.5mm audio jack, and a memory card slot.
