Nokia in cooperation with Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) will launch a customized handset, the 6124 classic. Nokia 6124 Classic will be coming to Taiwan market with support for i-mode. The Nokia classic i-mode, which supports 3.5G HSDPA technology, will be Nokia’s first customized handset that supports NTT DoCoMO’s i-mode value-added services, said CK Cherng, general manager, Nokia Taiwan. Some retailers in the UK are already accepting this quadband GSM and dual band WCDMA cellphone pre-orders, though they’re not saying when the device will be available. The price is not disclosed.
