Following the previous BlackBerry Storm officially announced, Research In Motion (RIM) announced the availability of new developer tools for creating and testing innovative, mobile-savvy applications for the BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Pearl Flip smartphones. The developer tools include new versions of the BlackBerry Java Development Environment (BlackBerry JDE) that enable the streamlined development of mobile applications, as well as desktop simulators for the BlackBerry Storm, BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Pearl Flip smartphones that accelerate mobile application testing. BlackBerry OS 4.6 for Bold 9000, Touchscreen Thunder 9500. Horizon Wireless Online has a detail of Blackberry OS 4.6 for 9000 / 9500 (latest build: 4.6.0.60). That is the latest version of the official blackberry OS “version 4.6″ for most newer Blackberry models like the Bold 9000 Meteor and the 9500 Thunder. BlackBerry OS 4.6 offers a richer web-browsing experience. The track-ball will allow you to navigate around a full webpage as well as zooming in and out with a simple click - the BlackBerry 9500 Thunder will presumably allow for finger-based zooming. BlackBerry OS 4.6 also brings “Music Sync” clock application. It’s a synchronization application for selecting and transferring music from a computer to a BlackBerry smartphone.
