Sony for PSP Phone without Ericsson? A new rumor said that Sony will split from Ericsson for PSP phone because of “Frosty” relationship. An industry source is quoted as saying the relationship between Sony and Sony Ericsson has become “frosty”, that Sony has learned from its “strategic error” of giving its Walkman name to Sony Ericsson and that Sony would “never” give its PlayStation branding to the Sony Ericsson joint venture. We can’t wait fot the PlayStation-branded-mobile-phone to come. Stay tuned.

Sony Ericsson Alicia Walkman Clamshell (leaked). This is a new SE handset codenamed “Alicia” that is a stylish Walkman clamshell with two displays. It’s quite the same thing as the already known W980i with small differences. With emphasis to the animations that appear on the outer and hidden display it’s another phone that could be seen as an emotional series phone. Its outer screen will feature some nice Walkman animations or the current weather condition, changing the theme depending on the time of the day. Sony Ericsson W760 MTV edition. Although this MTV version music phone looks funky, its specification is identical to the original Sony Ericsson W760. The mobile phone features a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, HSDPA, stereo Bluetooth, memory expansion slot, Walkman 3.0 music player, a 3.2 megapixel camera and built-in GPS. It will have a very colorful outer shell and come preloaded with MTV content. The cellphone will go sale first in Italy for around 300 Euros without contract.

XPERIA X1 New White Paper reveals more details. Following the previous report, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 white paper shows two versions (X1a and X1c), A new white paper reveals more details, there are two important details added; Sony Ericsson has now confirmed that the device will ship with 256MB of SDRAM and 512MB of NAND Flash, and the battery life (the high-capacity 1500 mAh lithium polymer battery), it says will clock in at 10 hours talk time using GSM or 6.5 hours using UMTS or 3.1 hours if you’re making video calls all the time.
