The mobile phone comes with a tri-band GSM/GPRS radio on board, VGA camera, FM radio, and a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery. As for the size, the LG KP152 measures 88×47×17.3 mm and has a weight of 80 grams.

LG KP152 clamshell costs about $10 in red or black, and will also be available in Europe. Russia is the first to be able to grab the mobile phone.

New 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology could deliver ’super-fast’ speeds on the move. “Tests show LTE can produce speeds up to 186 Mbps,” said GSMA director of technology Dan Warren. But, they’re not the actual data speeds, they vary with distance from the base station and interference. The actual data speeds of 100Mbps are expected by 2010 in Japan and South Korea, with Europe getting 100Mbps wireless data speeds by 2012.

The smartphone also features a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD memory expansion slot, 288 MB of RAM coupled with 512MB of ROM, 2.8-inch VGA screen, including HSDPA, GPS, WiFi. It’s much thicker than HTC Touch Diamond. The 18.05mm thick device weighs 165 grams.
