Facebook on Android Now Available. The new app is called fBook. Facebook did not actually create this application; it was the guys over at Next Mobile Web.
It appears to be identical to going to m.facebook.com from your mobile browser, but with the addition of picture uploading and push capabilities integrated into the phone itself.
They say this application is a wrapper that not only optimizes the Facebook iPhone web application, but also fixes all the problems associated with it.

Some of the new features included in the new version are Notifications, Full News feed, People search, Friend requests, Photo tagging, captioning and posts to friends’ Walls, Full Mini-Feed, now combined with The Wall, Access to the entire inbox along with “Sent” folder and updates tab, Inbox search, Chat, and Message attachments.
