The application relies on the WiFi hotspot and allows you to remotely connect to your iPhone and change notes from a web browser. All web browsers are supported — including Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera — but it is required, though, that you have Adobe Flash Player installed. The latest nightly of Firefox browser for mobile, codename Fennec was tested by Ars-technica, and the result, it’s 600% faster than the latest public version of Nokia’s Maemo OS which runs on Nokia N810 and N800 internet tablets, called MicroB. Mozilla technical evangelist Chris Blizzard notes that the optimization work has produced even more gains on ARM than on x86. But, that doesn’t mean that Mozilla will be held up in releasing their Firefox Mobile browser. The mobile web-browser is set for release by year’s end 2008.

“I think that some carriers will basically fight this kicking and screaming, and some will embrace it and move ahead quickly,” said Christian Sejersen, head of Mozilla’s mobile engineering group in Copenhagen.
