Feature rich Windows Mobile 6.1 device utilising HTC’s new Touchflow UI. This device is in a tablet form factor meaning it is touch screen only. The Diamond surpasses the iPhone in all aspects, the key differentiator is the inherent flexibility of the Diamond. It comes loaded with Vodafone Email Plus and the Vodafone Sat Nav program.

E-Ink Corporation’s new Segmented Display Cell (SDC) technology allows for next-generation displays based on E-Ink technology to bring flexibility and low power-consumption to a paper-thin package. The high readability and flexible design options allowed by the SDC E-Ink display’s “organic non-rectangular unique shapes, including holes, curves, and other non-standard designs” is perfectly suited to a range of bendable and oddly-shaped displays.

A newly published patent application outlines an IM application that looks much like the current SMS text message application.

In normal use, users would continue to use the same bubble chat interface as with today’s phone, complete with the ability to start new messages by searching through the contact list or typing the first few letters of someone’s name.
