HTC T-Mobile Shadow II with UMA. Following on previous post, HTC CONV100 on FCC, T-Mobile Shadow II?, A new report says that HTC will make Shadow II UMA handset for T-Mobile USA. It will be T-Mobile USA’s first Windows Mobile-based UMA (unlicensed mobile access) handset. T-Mobile Shadow 2 is the successor to the original T-Mobile Shadow (basically a re-branded HTC Juno). The company planning to launch the device in the fourth quarter of this year (Q4 2008).

Android delayed to Q4 2008. We’ve been waiting for Android mobile OS, Google planned to have the new phones on the market by the second half of this year, but it seems the plans are slowed. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Google’s Android hardware won’t arrive until the fourth quarter. It’s good to hear that T-Mobile USA expects to deliver an Android-powered phone in the fourth period.
