My Location on Google Maps for BlackBerry now with Wi-Fi. Google has released My Location with Wi-Fi, which will provide even greater accuracy when you use a device with Wi-Fi. Google Maps for mobile with Street View and walking directions. Google has released a new version of Google Maps for mobile with the same street-level imagery available on desktop. Street View has been included in the latest build of Mobile Maps for BlackBerry and Java-enabled phones. You can also launch Street View from any address where it has photography, or simply by clicking on the map and selecting “Street View”. You can browse Street View overlaid on the map or in full screen, rotate your view to see more of your surroundings, and move along the street.

Transit Directions for Google Maps for Mobile now available for Symbian S60 and WinMo. After Google has released Google Maps for mobile with Transit directions for BlackBerry and Java-based handsets, it’s finally time for the release of version 2.2 of the application for Symbian S60 (3rd edition or later) and Windows Mobile (2005 or later). It features star-ratings for businesses as well as user-generated content that will surface in search results allowing you to see what real people think about a particular business or place, your search results show up faster than ever, and user-generated content will now surface in your search results — opening up a whole new world of geo content on your phone.

Android running on Nokia N95 Videos. From this ‘low-quality’ video we can clearly see the Android-based Google Maps application grabbing positional data and the Android dialer making a voice call. The first video shows the dual-boot setup the guy has setup, allowing him to boot up in to Android or Symbian. The second video shows the Nokia N95 running Google Maps and making a phone call on Android. Yeah we aren’t sure whether this video is showing a real-deal Android installation on Nokia N95 hardware, this is natively installed or not, or if this guy actually has a semi-functional Android device. E-TEN Glofiish M750 and M810 launched. A new pair of Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional-powered QWERTY sliders, Glofiish M750 and M810 have been launched by E-TEN. Following the acquisition (E-TEN acquired by Acer), the devices are apparently ready to pull duty as the company’s new flagship Windows Mobile smartphones.
