Garmin Mobile Navigation app for BlackBerry for Europe. Garmin Mobile for GPS-enabled BlackBerry is available for $99.99 in the U.S. And, now Good news for Europeans, the application is now offered by Garmin in Europe for 89.99 GBP (about $179.99). Users with GPS-enabled BlackBerrys can get Garmin Mobile’s turn-by-turn, voice prompted directions for the life of their smartphone. Users will also have unlimited access to such content such as maps, millions of POIs, as well as Navteq’s database of points of interest, and easy-to-use navigation software.

iPhone 2.1 Firmware beta + GPS features. Following the previous iPhone Copy Paste in iPhone 2.1 SDK, A new report says that Apple has released a beta version of iPhone OS 2.1 to developers. The firmware has shown an updated Core Location library that is capable of tracking the iPhone’s direction and velocity of movement, tracking the direction you are heading, and the speed you are traveling. HP iPAQ 910 available. The Windows Mobile smartphone is now available for purchase. HP iPAQ 910 boasts Treo-like form factor, QWERTY keyboard, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, and GPS on board.
There’re also a 128 MB of RAM for your multi-tasking works, and 416 MHz Marvell PXA270 CPU for the processing power. HP iPAQ 910 is available for $499.99 from the official HP’s shopping site here.
Asus Glide UI on Asus ZX1. Following the previous post about Asus Glide Mobile OS UI, and now the UI has been tapped to run on top of the Windows Mobile platform on the ASUS ZX1 Lamborghini-themed mobile phone. Asus ZX1 Lamborghini Windows Mobile Smartphone sports such goodies as HSDPA support, SiRFStar III GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, while Qualcomm’s 520 MHz CPU provides the processing power for Windows Mobile 6.1. Nokia N85 Leaked Photos. The rumored Nokia N85 has been spotted in the wild. According to Engadget Mobile, This Nseries handset may feature a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, and geotagging. From the pictures, the cellphone sports a glossy black finish, falling in line with the design aesthetic that we’ve seen Nokia using on their Nseries devices. No more details yet. Stay tuned. Sony Ericsson W760 MTV edition. Although this MTV version music phone looks funky, its specification is identical to the original Sony Ericsson W760. The mobile phone features a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, HSDPA, stereo Bluetooth, memory expansion slot, Walkman 3.0 music player, a 3.2 megapixel camera and built-in GPS. It will have a very colorful outer shell and come preloaded with MTV content. The cellphone will go sale first in Italy for around 300 Euros without contract.
HTC Touch Pro (aka Raphael) to be launched by O2 Germany under its XDA lineup of smartphones. As a follow-up to the previous post (HTC Touch Pro (aka Raphael) now Official), There’s news said that O2 Germany will launch its version of the HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) under the Xda brand (the name isn’t unveiled yet) later this summer as well. The “O2’s Raphael” which is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7201A CPU at 528 MHz will feature Windows Mobile 6.1, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and on the front, the VGA camera for video telephony. HTC Touch Pro (aka Raphael) now Official. HTC Raphael was officially announced as HTC Touch Pro. This super-phone sports a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, it runs Windows Mobile 6.1 featuring HTC’s TouchFLO 3D interface, and it’s powered by Qualcomm’s MSM7201A 528 MHz CPU. The smartphone also features a 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD memory expansion slot, 288 MB of RAM coupled with 512MB of ROM, 2.8-inch VGA screen, including HSDPA, GPS, WiFi. It’s much thicker than HTC Touch Diamond. The 18.05mm thick device weighs 165 grams.
