Motorola Q9 Napoleon represents the first carrier-branded handset to be fully CDMA and GSM. This mobile phone does fully CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and GSM world roaming capabilities.
Motorola Q9 Napoleon features a Windows Mobile 6.1, CDMA radio capable of EVDO Rev. A data speeds, quad-band EDGE (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio supports, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, stereo speakers, 320×240 resolution screen, Wi-Fi, and a 1500mAh battery. Although it’s Verizon branded, it may work on AT&T, and T-Mobile network. Interestingly, this smartphone has a newly added fingerprint scanner for security on the back too. BlackBerry 9100 KickStart More Pictures. From the previous posts, we’re already aware of this BlackBerry Kickstart Clamshell on T-Mobile USA (more details). It’s good to see that RIM is preparing to launch its first clamshell flip phone. From the last report we know that the mobile phone will be a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM radio, 2 megapixel camera, WiFi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack into the device. The internal display is reported to be a QVGA 240×320 jobby, while the external one display sports a 160×128 pixel resolution. The SureType keyboard is apparently a next-generation version of the double-letter keyboard, and BlackBerry OS 4.6. XPERIA X1 New White Paper reveals more details. Following the previous report, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 white paper shows two versions (X1a and X1c), A new white paper reveals more details, there are two important details added; Sony Ericsson has now confirmed that the device will ship with 256MB of SDRAM and 512MB of NAND Flash, and the battery life (the high-capacity 1500 mAh lithium polymer battery), it says will clock in at 10 hours talk time using GSM or 6.5 hours using UMTS or 3.1 hours if you’re making video calls all the time.

AT&T to boost 3G speeds to 20Mbps, HSPA release 7 by 2009. We’ve heard 4G LTE Network by AT&T in 2012, Recently AT&T has announced that it plans to roll out its HSPA release 7 network in 2009. The new 3G technology will apparently boost data speeds to 20Mbps - more than 5 times what current AT&T 3G users can expect today. Palm Centro in Blue for Verizon. A popular smartphone from Palm, Palm Centro in blue color is now available for Verizon Wireless customers. This cellphone is one of Palm’s successful devices. We’ve seen Palm Centro in Pink for Val’s Day for Sprint, the Palm Centro GSM on AT&T in White and AT&T Palm Centro Official without 3G, and next it is also expected to come for T-Mobile in the near future.

Hong Kong based HKC launched the world’s first Windows Mobile smartphone with two SIM card slots, allowing savvy users to make and receive phone calls on two networks. HTC Touch Cruise aka Xda Orbit 2 in O2 UK. UK business customers with an eye for new smartphones will now be able to pick up the cellphone from the carrier’s business store. Back in November, O2 is launching the phone, The carrier was unveiling the device in continental Europe, most notably Germany. And now O2’s British arm is following the suit by launching the same device.
