Firmware Update for Nokia E90 Communicator. A new Nokia E90 firmware upgrade is now available, it’s version 300.34.84. This update includes some improvements including: Faster orientation switching (open/close lid etc), Nokia Maps 2.0 built-in, Wi-Fi improvements, new baseline for VoIP, Download! application Updated (v3.1.736), Music player is updated, Flash Lite 3 and Flash video updated, and RealPlayer now supports FLV format.
Note: Please ensure that all critical information has been backed up before applying this new Nokia E90 firmware update. If you update, you’ll lose BlackBerry support, but you’ll get all those new features.
Windows Mobile 6.1 Firmware Update for Rogers Samsung Jack i616. A new WinMo 6.1 OS firmware upgrade for Samsung SGH-i616 on Rogers has been released. The new firmware brings some improvements including instant messaging-like texting, improved Internet browsing, simpler e-mail and Bluetooth setup. There are also new Home screen interface, new Getting Started Center, security enhancements, easier Wi-Fi connection, and more personal choice.

iPhone 2.0.2 OS Firmware. Following the previous iPhone 2.0.1 OS, Apple finally pushes out Apple iPhone 2.0.2 OS via iTunes. According to Apple, this version includes improvements, bug fixes, and supersedes all previous versions. Some users are reporting that they have faster internet browsing, the iPhones running faster, typing lag reduced, and transition from music list to CoverFlow has been updated. Neonode N2 Firmware Upgrade. Following the previous Neonode N2 Available in New Colors, Neonode N2 firmware now gets an upgrade. Neonode has made the text messaging input area larger, slightly refreshed UI, new improved performance. There are also new applications like Winwap’s WAP browser, audio recorder, Sudoku game, and upgraded media player with better track organization.

Data Wipe Feature for iPhone 2.0 Firmware completely erases user data. It’s good to hear that Apple has rolled out a data security feature in the new iPhone firmware revision that will securely erase user data. iPhone 2.0 OS features an enhanced data-wiping capability built into its “Erase iPhone” feature. The current feature doesn’t allow for a complete memory wipe of user data, but screenshots of the iPhone 2.0 OS’s data-wipe feature shows that a more complete solution has been developed to wipe all traces of user data from the iPhone’s memory. Nokia N78 Firmware Update (OTA). A new firmware over-the-air (OTA) update for European Nokia N78 users, it’s a 2MB size v11.043 firmware. The release includes improved stability with Bluetooth (headsets and car kits) and music (playback over a long time and content refresh). Improved TouchFLO 3D for HTC Touch Diamond. Following on previous report, HTC Touch Diamonds are now Shipping, HTC just confirmed that the European HTC Touch Diamond is shipping with a much improved TouchFLO 3D UI version which is speedier, snappier and more responsive. It has the latest TouchFLO 3D improvements, faster and snappier after the ROM update then it was before. It look like good news for you who want this Windows Mobile smartphone.
