Samsung SPH-W6050 announced in Korea. A new 5 megapixel camera-equipped phone has been announced by Samsung in Korea, it’s Samsung SPH-W6050. This mobile phone comes with a 3-inch WVGA haptic feedback-enabled touchscreen display, HSPA support, a DMB TV tuner on-board, a microSD memory expansion slot, DMB tuner, and more. Unfortunately, it lacks WiFi.
Samsung SPH-W6050 is available for around $600 only in Korea, No word on whether it will be available in the US.

LG SH470 Edge for Korea. A new stylish mid-range slider phone LG SH470 “Edge” has been officially released in Korea. It’s an elegant and sexy 10.9 mm-thick slider handset that might look flashy at first sight, but is actually a bit on the low-end when it comes to features. LG SH470 Edge features a 2 megapixel camera, a 2.2-inch QVGA screen, media player and Bluetooth support on board.

iRiver Wave for Korea in March 2009. After the previous report about iRiver prepares GSM Linux-based Phone back at CES in January 2008. A new report says that iRiver’s wave touchphone will hit Korea on March 9th from Korean carrier KT.
iRiver Wave comes with a large 480×272″ pixels touchscreen, WiFi, FM radio, 4GB of internal memory that is further expandable with memory cards, embedded access to Bugs Music Service. There are also pre-installed apps such as media player, ebook reader, electronic dictionary. Handwriting recognition and multiple dictionaries are also included.

LG Secret for Korea. LG KF750 aka LG SECRET is now available in Korea. This cellphone sports same features as the Secrets we’ve seen for other countries. Let’s wuick recap, it has the same 5 megapixel camera which can record video at 120 frames per second. The device also boasts a 2.4″ QVGA screen, HSDPA support, Bluetooth, and microSD memory slot. We’re already aware of “DivX Certified” for LG Secret (KF750), LG keeps the DivX video playback to be a feature that Korean consumers appreciate and rely on.
