Apple AppStore to launch on June 27th? Following on the previous post, Apple iPhone 3G announced at WWDC 2008 (available for $199, on July 11th), We can’t wait the iPhone 3G and firmware 2.0 to come in early July, but what’s this? Apple’s Australian website makes mention of the purported June 27 launch date, but there is no other mention of that particular date anywhere else. Actually it’s strange to see the AppStore being prepared for a launch ahead of the new iPhone firmware 2.0. Maybe it’s just a goof, or will Apple really want to surprise us with an earlier launch date? Stay tuned.

Following on the previous post, Sony Ericsson G702 BeiBei, Z780i approved by FCC, From the last picture, we could see that the thin clamshell phone which comes with HSDPA 850/1900/2100 and GPS is bound for AT&T. These are ’spy’ photos of what could be the N79 and N85 (currently marked ‘N00′) indicating they are still in development. They may not be released at all. BlackBerry OS 4.6 for Bold 9000, Touchscreen Thunder 9500. Horizon Wireless Online has a detail of Blackberry OS 4.6 for 9000 / 9500 (latest build: 4.6.0.60). That is the latest version of the official blackberry OS “version 4.6″ for most newer Blackberry models like the Bold 9000 Meteor and the 9500 Thunder. BlackBerry OS 4.6 offers a richer web-browsing experience. The track-ball will allow you to navigate around a full webpage as well as zooming in and out with a simple click - the BlackBerry 9500 Thunder will presumably allow for finger-based zooming. BlackBerry OS 4.6 also brings “Music Sync” clock application. It’s a synchronization application for selecting and transferring music from a computer to a BlackBerry smartphone. LG KM710, LG KM380 Music Phones. The launch of two LG music phones have been announced, LG KM710 and LG KM380 - in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. Both devices use the LG Sound Engine technology which promises to boost sound quality. Both handsets are targetted for the emerging markets.
LG KM710 is the updated version of the LG KM500. This cellphone features lighting effects for the indicator, solid speaker, GraceNote support, and up to 30 hours of music listening. LG KM380 sports a slim body and MP3 playback software that uses the so called “Restoration Technology,” which will repair the loss quality from MP3 files.

ModeLabs’ Bluetrek Metal - The thinnest Bluetooth Headset in the World. ModeLabs just announced a new Bluetooth headset which is claimed as the world’s thinnest Bluetooth headset. At just 4mm of thickness with weight that doesn’t exceed 5.5 grams. Interestingly, the size will not limit the functionality of the device, its battery can work for up to 5 hours in talk mode and more than 7 days in sleep mode.
