AT&T USBConnect Mercury with 3G Mobile Broadband Speed. AT&T and Sierra Wireless announced the availability of the AT&T USBConnect Mercury, the newest and smallest addition to AT&T’s High Speed Packet Access (HSPA)-capable lineup of LaptopConnect devices on the nation’s fastest third-generation (3G) network. It’s a convenient, easy-to-use USB device that provides a high speed connection to the AT&T wireless network whenever it’s needed. The device provides plug-and-play installation by including a preloaded version of AT&T Communication Manager software for Microsoft Windows Vista, XP and 2000 notebooks and Sierra’s Watcher software for Mac notebooks (versions 10.4.11 or later) so that new customers can get up and running quickly and easily.

Sony Ericsson MD400 and MD400g HSPA USB Modems. Sony Ericsson announced two HSPA USB modems - MD400 and MD400g. Aside from the HSPA radio, both devices (MD400 Mobile Broadband USB Modem, and MD400g Mobile Broadband GPS USB Modem) also pack microSD and Memory Stick Micro (M2) slots and the latter model (MD400g). Apart from an in-built antenna, an innovative additional swivel antenna optimizes the performance when in use. When closed, it covers and protects the retractable USB connector. Samsung i900 Omnia announced. Following the last post, Samsung SGH-i900 New Live Photos, This handset is finally unveiled by Samsung. This mobile phone is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, the Samsung i900 offers a 3.2-inch WideQVGA display (240 x 400 pixels) and an optical mouse much like the one found in the Samsung i780.

OpenMoko FreeRunner will be available for $399. As we expected last month, New OpenMoko next to the Neo 1973, This OpenMoko Neo1973 open-source Linux handset’s successor will be available in the near future. OpenMoko FreeRunner sports a faster processor than its predecessor and adds three-axis motion sensors to the mix.
As we saw before, the overall aesthetic of the FreeRunner is largely unchanged from the Neo1973, and the glorious VGA touchscreen, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, and microSD card slot also make the cut.
