The service enables users to choose from a library of pre-produced greetings or use templates to create their own greeting using 3D avatars, photos, voice and more.

Thrrum MMS Search - Mobile Visual Search for T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless. We already heard Thrrum MMS Search - Mobile Visual Search for Sprint camera phones, the service is now available for T-Mobile and Verizon subscribers. Thrrum MMS Search enables camera phone users to find and browse information related to their physical environment using the MMS service integrated into their phones. Users can capture a picture of any text with their auto-focus or macro mode equipped camera phone and send the picture as a MMS to m@thrrum.com. Relevant search results are then sent to the users’ phones. AT&T memo lists iPhone 3G MMS Support. A new report from iPhoneAtlas said that an internal AT&T memo lists MMS support as a feature of the iPhone 3G. It allows transmission of text, pictures, and potentially video to other MMS-enabled phones. The AT&T memo was confirmed by an AT&T customer service representative. Yeah, since they aren’t known for delivering accurate information for upcoming products, so this is still a rumor. MMS may be seldom used in the US but it’s so popular in Europe. Stay tuned.

Apple Patent Application: Universal Instant Messaging. Apple apparently has plans for a universal instant messaging application. A newly published patent application outlines an IM application that looks much like the current SMS text message application.
In normal use, users would continue to use the same bubble chat interface as with today’s phone, complete with the ability to start new messages by searching through the contact list or typing the first few letters of someone’s name.
