Following on the previous report, Samsung i900 Omnia announced, DivX announced certification of the Samsung Omnia SGH-i900, the newest handset in a growing series of DivX Certified mobile products by Samsung Electronics. DivX and Samsung recently entered into a multi-year agreement to include DivX encode and decode capabilities into Samsung’s future mobile phones, signaling the company’s leading edge in the competitive mobile market.

E-TEN has released a number of hugely successful Pocket PC phones that featured combinations of GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3.5G GSM functionality each enhanced by exclusive in-house developed software applications. And recently Acer announced that it has entered into an agreement to buy E-TEN Information Systems Co. Ltd.
