According to Kevin Chen, the HTC manager for MEA and CIS, we could see Windows Mobile-based smartphones launching with Windows Mobile 7 in Q1 2009. We’ll have to wait and see whether this rumor is true or not.

TIM to rebrand BlackBerry Bold 9000 as Goldfinger? Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) may rebrand the Bold as BlackBerry ‘Goldfinger’! According to BB World, the BlackBerry Bold aka 9000 will be making its way to Telecom Italia Mobile during the second week of July. It will also carry a hefty price tag; between 450 - 500 EUR. This is still a rumor and unconfirmed yet.

AT&T Mobile TV with 10 full-streaming TV channels. Following te previous post, AT&T Mobile TV (New Mobile Entertainment Service) for LG Vu, Samsung Access, and AT&T Mobile TV on May 4? As expected, the new mobile TV service was finally launched with 10 full-streaming TV channels. You’ll need to have an AT&T cellphone equipped with Qualcomm’s MediaFLO hardware in order to get access to these 10 new mobile TV channels. The new service will cost AT&T customers $15 a month. The channel lineup looks like this: CBS Mobile, Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile TV, Fox Mobile, MTV, NBC 2Go, NBC News 2Go, Nickelodeon, Sony Pictures and CNN Mobile Live. Unlocked 3G iPhone for Italy? According to the latest report comes from Italian language La Repubblica, indicates that Apple and Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) have already signed a deal to bring the 3G iPhone to Italy. Franco Bernabè, CEO Telecom Italia, apparently made the trip out to Cupertino to meet with Steve Jobs and ink said deal.

We’ve heard AT&T Mobile TV (New Mobile Entertainment Service) for LG Vu, Samsung Access in the previous post, Recently, There is a report said that AT&T Mobile TV service is expected to be launched on May 4. Word on the street has AT&T launching the new service in a three-tiered setup. The lowest (and cheapest) “Limited” package will run $13 a month and offers Fox, CBS, NBC, and NBC News. An extra couple bucks will get you the “Basic” package for $15 a month - offering Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, CNN Mobile, Sony Pictures, and ESPN in addition to the Limited package’s lineup.
